Turkey is a country of many faces, with fairytale-like mosques and palaces, legendary ancient cities and fascinating landscape. A richly historical land with some of the best cuisine you will ever taste, one of the world’s greatest cities and scenery ranging from white-sand beaches to soaring mountains.

Below, you can find our DAY-BY-DAY ITINERARY:

DAY 1: OCT. 16 - JFK - ISTANBUL

Depart for your overnight flight

DAY 2: OCT. 17 - ARRIVAL – ISTANBUL

Arrival in Istanbul. You will be met and transferred to your hotel. Rest of the day at leisure.

Dinner at the hotel. (D) - THE PLAZA HOTEL www.theplazahotel.com.tr – we will stay for 3 nights

DAY 3: OCT. 18 - ISTANBUL

Today enjoy a full day tour of Istanbul, including Hagia Sophia Church, now a museum, the Blue Mosque, the Byzantine Hippodrome and Topkapi Palace (excluding Harem Section) and Grand Bazaar. Evening at leisure. Dinner at hotel (B,L,D)

DAY 4: OCT. 19 - ISTANBUL

After breakfast:

10:00am – Official Opening Ceremony of SPATA Convention with Polish and Turkish officials

workshop with Turkish travel agencies

Lunch at local fish restaurant

Half day tour - visit the Spice Market and cruise by private boat on Bosphorus, the unique winding strait separating two continents.. Return back to hotel. Evening dinner and Belly dancing performance complimentary from the Turkish Tourist board (to be advised) (B,L,D)

DAY 5: OCT. 20 - ISTANBUL / CAPPADOCIA

Transfer to the airport for your flight to Cappadocia. Tour Goreme’s rock chapels decorated with 6th century frescoes, Zelve’s cliff-side Byzantine monastic complex and Uchisar’s natural citadel. Dinner and overnight in Cappadocia. (B,L,D) - SUHAN HOTEL 5* www.suhanhotel.com

DAY 6: OCT. 21 - CAPPADOCIA / PAMUKKALE

Today depart for Pamukkale. En route visit the famous mausoleum of the sufi philosopher Mevlana. Dinner and overnight in Pamukkale. (B,L,D) – COLOSSAE HOTEL 5* www.colossaehotel.com

DAY 7: OCT. 22 - PAMUKKALE / BODRUM

Early morning visit the unique Cotton Fortress, the white calcium cascades and one of the first modern spa centers of the ancient world, Hierapolis. Then drive to Bodrum and overnight. (B,L) - THE MARMARA HOTEL 5* www.themarmarahotels.com – we will stay for 2 nights

DAY 8: OCT. 23 - BODRUM

Full Day free at leisure. (B)

6:00pm Closed SPATA meeting

Gala Dinner – Official Closing Ceremony of SPATA Convention

DAY 9: OCT. 24 - BODRUM – DEPARTURE

After breakfast you will be transferred to airport
