As the president of the Society of Polish American Travel Agents in USA and Canada

I invite You Ms. Anita Witkowska to our 55th Annual Convention of SPATA in India. Considering the distance to India, as well as the diversity of cultural sites in India, the Officers and Board of Directors of SPATA are excited to offer a special Convention “Package” to India, which includes a three-night Pre-Convention side-trip to Mumbai. Mumbai is the business center of India, which will give us insight into the period of British colonial rule, a behind-the-scenes look into the film capitol of the world, called Bollywood, as well as a glimpse into the daily life of the Indian people, from the wealthy movie stars to the poorest people of India, made famous in the movie “Slumdog Millionaire,” which won eight Academy Awards in 2008.

Following the Pre-Convention side-trip, the Official Opening Ceremony of the convention will take place in Delhi. The convention itinerary will include India’s Golden Triangle, with a stop in Agra to see India’s most famous attraction, the Taj Mahal. As the convention continues to Jaipur, the third leg of the Golden Triangle, there will be closed SPATA meetings as well as workshops with our travel partners in India. The convention will conclude with a Royal Farewell Banquet in the Palace at Samode, where an elegant evening, awaits us the night before our departure to the USA.
