June 26 – July 12, 2026

Part I – Polish Independent Highland Brigade
Battle of Narvik

Discover the forgotten heroism of Polish troops at Narvik—WWII’s first Allied victory. From mountain battles to naval raids, their courage helped turn the tide in Norway. Learn how they defied the odds in one of the war’s most dramatic early campaigns. This trip is a living history lesson that brings participants to the location where the Polish Independent Highland Brigade, totaling roughly 4,500 soldiers, played a crucial role in the Allied victory at the Battle of Narvik in May 1940. The Polish Navy also contributed destroyers and suffered significant losses, including the sinking of ORP Grom.

Świętosława, The Queen of the Vikings

Polish history remembers many powerful queens, yet the most extraordinary among them has
been almost entirely forgotten. Świętosława (& Polish/English PDF), sister of Bolesław I the Brave, lived a life that reads like the script of an epic film—filled with political intrigue, struggles for power, and a ruthlessness that could have shamed the fiercest rulers of her age. Her story, preserved in Scandinavian sagas, reveals how she transformed herself from a mere political pawn into a master strategist whose decisions shaped the fate of the northern kingdoms.

Part II – Poland, Flisacy, Castles, History and Discovery

Flisacy.pl Gallery

Dunajec Gorge is one of the best-known tourist attractions representing Poland internationally, based in the Pieniny Mountains. Wooden raft trips have been organized daily by the Flisacy river boat men, or Pieniny Górals since the early 19th century — when their customers consisted mostly of guests of nearby Niedzica and Czorsztyn castles. The trip begins in the village of Sromowce Wyżne-Kąty, and ends in the resort town of Szczawnica.
