SPATA meets Polish President Karol Nawrocki

On September 20, 2026 the Society of Polish American Travel Agents was invited to meet with the President of Poland Karol Nawrocki and his lovely wife. SPATA President Honorata Pierwola was seated near President Nawrocki at the special mass for this occasion in St. Stanislaw Kostka Church in Brooklyn, New York. The mass celebrated 130 years of the Church’s services and 250 years of the United States and 300 years of St. Stanislaw Kostka.

SPATA President Honorata Pierwola had an opportunity to speak with President Nawrocki about several matters. Most importantly the presidents discussed the importance of the Society of Polish American Travel Agents and its role in promoting Poland and Polish tourism. Second, though just as important, the conversation underscored the importance of Poles abroad who invest in Polish interests and promote Polish culture. Tying these interests together, president Honorata Pierwola invited President Nawrocki to the highly successful 2027 SPATA Polish Senior Care, Wellness & Medical Tourism Conference in Clearwater, Florida where for the first time at an American Conference, Poland is revealing itself and decades of investment as a global destination for health, wellness, and recreation.
